The Cage Part I
You broke your cage and flew -Rumi Crowded city streets were a madness all their own. Nowhere was this more true than Negav, the largest human city (and de-facto human capital) of Felarya. A melting pot of cultures from any number of universes, humans and nonhumans blended together into a non-homogeneous menagerie of lifestyles, religions, and peoples. This was especially reflected in the city buildings, where architecture styles could switch in the space of a city block. One moment there might be stained glass walls and flying buttresses, the next pillars and columns of a neoclassical style. The streets were made wide and broad, but most of this space was used to accommodate pitch tents, break-down stalls, and a variety of goods sold from the back of a variety of cars, carts, wagons, and even a hovercraft or two. When it was all said and done, all that was left of the enormous roadway was a maze of walkways that wound haphazardly through the market. Science and magic were on

A Fairy's Promise (A story of Felarya)
(Author's note: This story involves Hans, a graduate student of Dr. Pricilla Scarborough. He was last seen in my story, 'The Fairy Tomb.') "A promise made must be a promise kept." -Aristotle The lively fire crackled in the hearth, feasting on stout logs cut from the forest outside. A sudden pop from the dry wood sent a cascade of sparks dripping upwards. They swirled about on a slipstream of thin blue smoke, before disappearing into the draw of the stone chimney. Grigor took a deep breath, blinking steely eyes. He turned away from the hearth, wrinkled hands catching up a dishrag and mug. Setting one against the other the old man began to scrub, though the glass was as immaculate as the pristine and freshly washed dishrag. In the Murmur Tavern, one night was often much like another. Only two tables were occupied. The first was a lone man with a young face but graying temples. He leaned back in his chair, a half-drunk mug of ale and crust of bread on his table. Both appeared

Felarya: An Unexpected Encounter
Thayrn Forest
It was one of these typical, quite hot and humid days in the Thayrn Forest west of the Direwind Hills, near the snow-white beaches of the Myrodia Coast. In this forest the sky vanished almost completely. Illuminated by the brilliant rays of the sun, falling through the green leaves of the gigantic trees. The fresh air was filled with the scent of damp earth combined with that of wild fruits. As beautiful as this place was, it was just as dangerous. With the Fairy kingdom so close it was not uncommon to see one flying around, hunting or playing with other fairies. Some unfortunate humans, nekos and elves, considered prey, where

I started writing this one in August... Work has kept me really busy these past few months!
This is a Felarya story with one-off characters. Credit goes to Karbo for the fauna, as well for the world itself. Credit to Jaette-Troll for the Elfiga valley and jotuns. And my apologies if I've forgotten to credit anyone; just let me know.
Note that this story is low on vore. There's some vore, but not very much. Instead, there's... a character wandering around. Read it and see!
Edit: has now drawn this beautiful illustration of the opening scene of this story:
. Many thanks!

I like Soshra’s manner of telling stories. It’s very childlike in its insistence. How she views Nyiella, especially during the tasting part, was both disturbing and fascinating. Your exploration on the way predators and prey interact are probably the most thought provoking I’ve read.
You talk about a lot of creatures in this one. It might be helpful if your could link to their wikis, if they have any.
